I've come to fictional writing by way of a heck of a lot of non-fiction writing!
When I ended my 10-year tenure as a marine trade feature writer, I'd authored more than 200 trade articles in over 20 of the industry's publications. Additionally, my piece about the unprecedented expedition to map Titanic in 3-D for the very first time, was published in Reader's Digest to commemorate the 100th anniversary of her sinking. Before that, I wrote on mental health, business, and art for a range of local and national publications. I also worked as a content and copywriter for clients in several industries.
